Last week we wrapped up our regular season at the 2026 FIRST Championship in Houston!

Our Impact Team connected with teams from around the world during the Impact Exchange and delivered a strong presentation to judges, sharing the growth of our programs and the work we do in our community.

For the championship, we REBUILT an entirely new robot. Despite early rigidity challenges during qualification, our drive team and pit crew pushed through every obstacle and kept improving match after match. After two long days, we found ourselves ranked 13 of 75 in the Johnson Division.

We were honored to be selected as the first pick of the #2 Alliance Captain @roundtablerobotics, joining forces with @team179 and @ehovemavericks. Together, we battled through playoffs and finished as Johnson Division Semifinalists.

To our mentors, parents, sponsors, alumni, and everyone who cheered us on this season — thank you. Your support made every rebuild, every late night, and every moment on and off the field possible.

This past weekend we were invited to Luke Air Force Base for Luke days! We demoed our robot, helped demo FLL, paper airplanes and more. We talked about FIRST to a bunch of students and families. ⚠️ Wild Weasel is on the loose ⚠️

This weekend we attended the innagural Pikes Peak Regional. After two days of Qualification matches, we finished rank 1 for the first time in program history! With our friends @frc8044 and @puncher_robotics we made it through some hard fought matches to win the event. After matches ended, we were incredibly honored to be named the Regional Impact Award winners for our work back home in Arizona. With these accolades, we are now qualified for the FIRST Championship in May! Up next, the Green Country Regional!

For the past five months, our FTC team Project: COBRA has been hard at work designing, building, and programming their robot for this year’s game, 𝘋𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘥𝘦.

They started at the Gilbert Qualifier, finishing 16th out of 21 teams. At their next event, the Painted Desert Qualifier, they made a huge leap — 𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟏𝐬𝐭, 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭, and earning the 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝.

Last weekend, they wrapped up their season at the Arizona State Championship, competing in the Grand Canyon Division and placing 18th out of 25 teams.
