Cobra Robotics and the Arizona Robotics League are proud to present the first Arizona offseason invitational: the Summer Scorcher. This will replace what historically has been the ARL August Qualifier and is a standalone 3-day invitational event that features top performing Arizona and out of state teams.

REGISTRATION
The top 15 Ranked ARL Championship Eligible programs will receive an automatic invitation to the Summer Scorcher and the remaining 25 slots will be made up of teams selected from the pool of applications based on criteria outlined in the application.

WEATHER
The Grand Canyon State has a reputation for being extremely hot. While it is true temperatures reach upwards of 100°, we want teams to be assured that they will feel cool and comfortable while at the Summer Scorcher. The venue features an indoor area where teams can take their lunches, as well as shaded atriums, picnic tables, and outdoor corridors for those looking to get some fresh air.
Teams are encouraged to bring their own water in the stands or the pits and additional water will be provided on-site.
